The one on the left appears to be built on a 4x4 truck chassis. The one on the right looks to be largely original.

I'm thinking this is somewhere in the south?

It's about as north as you can get in the continental United States.

Dang, I thought the foliage was kudzu. Still, this is some pretty clever "up north" redneck engineering. :D

How far north are you anyways? Maine's a big state. I would have seen these if you were south of Lewiston

The fab work looked pretty decent. It's hard to tell from my potato.

But that Dodge looks to be mostly original and in decent shape.

Yeah? I live in Wayne. They are right off 133. Do you know where the place is with all the hubcaps in the yard? Next to that.

Why do I want the lifted one so badly?

Let me counter with another question. Why wouldn't you want the lifted one?

Impracticality of a very capable 4x4 with no roof.

I know you're in Maine so you deal with more snow than me in Metro Detroit area Michigan but snow.

Very simply no roof and snow. lol. I have a feeling it doesn't have a functional, warm roof.

Sure I'd want a roof on a DD but toys don't need roofs but, I already own one vehicle that has no roof.

Ha, I already have a toy is the problem (which happens to have a roof).

No more room...

My wife has limited the number of cars I can own to 2. She says she doesn't want to live in a junkyard. Which she would, if I had my druthers.

I see all your posts. She would think it looks like a junkyard and we would think it looks like a gold mine. lol

I just don't have room for another (or money to keep up with it) We want a fun off roader so we're just going to turn my wife's DD Jeep Commander into a decent soft-roader. She'd take and cool old truck or jeep and probably be a lot happier with the investment than the Montego lol.
